Now, let’s see how this investment is going to change the grip of AI technology India currently holds.

The national artificial Intelligence portal has been jointly developed by the Ministry of Electronics and IT and IT Industry, the portal was launched by Union Minister for Electronics and IT, Law, and Justice and Communications Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The official statement from the government regarding the portal read as the portal will work as a one-stop digital platform for AI-related developments in India, sharing of resources such as articles, startups, investment funds in AI, resources, companies and educational institutions related to AI in India. The portal will also share documents, case studies, research reports, etc. It has a section about learning and new job roles related to AI.

On this occasion, a National Program for the youth — ‘Responsible AI for Youth‘ is also launched by Ravi Shankar Prasad. About the programme, Ministry said “The aim of this programme is to give the young students of our country a platform and empower them with appropriate new age tech mindset, relevant AI skill-sets and access to required AI tool-sets to make them digitally ready for the future. The programme has been created and launched by the National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics, and IT in collaboration with Intel India, with support from Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSE&L), Ministry of Human Resource Development. DoSE&L will help reach-out to State Education Departments to nominate teachers as per eligibility criteria.”

Ravi Shankar Prasad also said, “India must be a leading country in the development of Artificial Intelligence in the world, leveraging upon its vast Internet-savvy population and data it is creating. India’s AI approach should be of inclusion and empowerment of human beings by supplementing growth and development rather than making human beings less relevant”.

Oral-B says the toothbrush uses sensors to know when you’re applying too much pressure or not brushing long enough in a certain spot, and then sends data from the sensors to the app. The app takes this sensor data and uses the “Genius X AI algorithm” to tell you where you need to brush better and give you a rating on how well you brushed.

To make this toothbrush possible Oral-B company has created an algorithm of more than 2.000 brushing sessions to understand deep brushing behaviours from around the world.

The Genius X toothbrush deep and clean the mouth with the help of the three-movement combination of the brush head to effectively remove plaque: oscillate, rotate and pulsate.

The price of the toothbrush is roughly $220 (which is nearly Rs.15,000). The Genius X is a bit costly toothbrush.
