A $660,000 (4.84 crore) auction was held for an unopened copy of Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. video game that was purchased in 1986 and then forgotten about in a desk drawer. The video game was sold at Heritage Auctions in Dallas on Friday.

The video game was purchased as a Christmas present but ended up in a desk cabinet, where it remained sealed in plastic and with its hang tab intact until it was auctioned off, according to the auction house.

It is the finest copy known to have been professionally graded for sale, according to Heritage. It sold for much more than the $114,000 that another unopened copy from 1987 sold for at a Heritage auction last summer.
