										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="has-medium-font-size">Match 13 of the WPL (Women&#8217;s Premier League) was played between the Delhi Capitals and the Mumbai Indians. The match was played at Vadodara International Cricket Stadium, Kotanti. Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bowl first.<br><br>In the first inning, Sanjeevan Sanjana and Hayley Mathews opened for the Mumbai Indians, but both the openers failed to give a good start to the Mumbai Indians. After their wickets, Nat-Sciver-Brunt and Harmanpreet Kaur played an amazing game for the Mumbai Indians, which helped them to score a proper score for Mumbai. Harmanpreet Kaur scored 41 runs in 33 balls, and Nat Sciver-Brunt scored 65 runs in 45 balls. But after this, the Mumbai Indians failed to build a good partnership.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"> For Delhi, Marizane Kapp, Nandini Sharma, and Nallapureddy Charani took all the important wickets. And at the end of the inning, Mumbai made 154 runs on the loss of 5 wickets.<br>In the second inning, Shefali Verma and Lizelle Lee opened for the Delhi Capitals and gave a good start to Delhi. Shefali scored 29 runs in 24 balls, and Lizelle Lee scored 46 runs in 28 balls.  Laura Walvaardt lost her wicket early, but captain Jemimah Rodrigues played an impressive inning by scoring 51 runs in 37 balls with a strike rate of 137.84. Marizanne Kapp scored the winning runs for Delhi by hitting 10 runs in 6 balls. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Delhi completed the match in 19 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. For Mumbai, Amanjot Kaur and Vaishnavi Sharma took one wicket.<br><br>Jemimah Rodrigues won the player of the match because of her amazing performance with the bat, scoring 51 runs in 37 balls.</p>

Yesterday, Match No. 7 was played between the Delhi Capitals and UP Warriors at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. Delhi won the toss and chose to bowl first.<br><br>In the 1st inning, Kiran Nangire and Meg Lanning opened for UP Warriors. Kiran Nangire lost her wicket at 0, and after her, Phoebe Litchfield and Meg Lanning made a partnership and contributed to UP in their total. Phoebe Litchfield scored 27 runs, and Meg Lanning played an important inning and scored 54 runs in 38 balls. Harleen Deol also played an important inning of 47 runs, but she went back as retired hurt. And after these wickets, UP’s batting line-up hasn’t played well and ended up scoring 154 runs for 8 wickets. For Delhi, Marizanne Kapp, Nandini Sharma, Sneh Rana, Nallapureddy Charani, and Shafali Verma shared the important wickets and stopped UP at the score of 154.</p>

Shafali scored 36 runs in 32 balls, and Lizelle scored 67 runs in 44 balls, smashing 8 fours and 3 sixes. After them, Jemimah Rodrigues, Laura Wolvaardt, and Marizanne Kapp finished the match, where Laura Wolvaardt scored the winning run by hitting a four. The match was played at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai. Mumbai won the toss and chose to bowl first.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"> While batting, Beth Monny and Sophie Devine opened for the Gujarat Giants, but Sophie Devine lost her wicket very early. After that, Beth Monny and Kanika Ahuja formed a partnership, in which Sophie Devine scored 33 runs off 26 balls for the team, while Kanika scored 35 runs off 18 balls. After their wickets, Ashleigh Gardner, Georgia Wareham, and Bharti Fulmali played impactful innings, and they set the total of 192 for 5 wickets against the Mumbai Indians. For the Mumbai Indians, Shabnim Ismail, Hayley Matthews, Nicola Carey, and Amelia Kerr took each wicket for the team<br><br>In the 2nd inning, Gunalan Kamalini and Hayley Mattews opened for the Mumbai Indians; both the openers lost their wickets early after them. Amanjot Kaur and Harmanpreet Kaur played an impactful inning in which Amanjot Kaur made 40 runs in 26 balls, and Harmanpreet Kaur played the match-winning inning for the Mumbai Indians. Harmanpreet Kaur scored 71 runs in 43 balls with a strike rate of 165.12 and smashed 7 fours and 2 sixes, and also won the Player of the Match award for her amazing performance in the match. Nicola Carey also contributed fast flash runs in the total and helped the Mumbai Indians to make a good total. She scored 38 runs in 23 balls with a strike rate of 165.12 and smashed 6 fours. For Gujarat Giants, Renuka Singh, Kashvee Gautam, and Sophie Devine shared each wicket for the team.</p>
