Wind day discovers wind, its power to reshape our energy systems and decarbonize our economies. Global Wind Day was inaugurated in 2007 by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA).

Wind energy refers to the process of creating electricity using the power of wind, which occurs naturally in the earth’s atmosphere. Wind farms have wind turbines that is used to produce wind energy.
