The company sent media invites for the launch event last month. But Invite did not mention the launch date. Now by a tweet, Vivo India has released a poster depicting Vivo V17 launch date on Dec 9, 2019.

The Indian variants of Vivo V17 will have a hole-punch display and quad-camera setup in the shape of L. The company wants to give a premium look to customers through this phone so that it can challenge handsets like Samsung Galaxy S10.

The 32-megapixel selfie camera is set to be given in Vivo V17. It is also part of the Russian variant of the feature phone. The Russian variant of Vivo V17 has Waterdrop Notch and has a diamond-shaped rear camera setup. The Vivo V17 handset launched in Russia is actually a rebranded avatar of Vivo S1 Pro. However, the Indian variant is very different in terms of design.
