UGC-NET Dec 2023 exam online registration process started on September 30. The agency has also mentioned in the official notification that the last date for the online application form is October 28, 2023.

Interested candidates can apply for the University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test(UGC-NET) through the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC-NET Dec 2023 exams will be held from December 6 to December 22, 2023. Candidates can avail their admit card in the first week of December.

UGC NET Application Fee

General/Unreserved category applicants will have to pay ₹ 1150. General EWS/OBC-NCL applicants will have to pay ₹ 600, and SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender applicants will have to pay ₹ 325.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ and eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ in 82 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates can apply for UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 cycles till May 20.

The final date for UGC-NET 2022 exam is not announced yet.

 According to the official statement, “The slots of JRF of both UGC-NET December 2021 & June 2022 cycles have been merged while the methodology for Subject wise cum Category-wise allocation of JRF remain unchanged”.

1. Go to ugcnet.nta.nic.in
2. On the homepage, click on the application form
3. Register and fill the application form
4. Enter the required details, upload documents and pay the exam fee. 
5. Submit your application and download the confirmation page.

According to official notification, Due to the postponement of December 2020 UGC-NET in view of COVID-19, the schedule of June 2021 UGCNET has been delayed. In order to regularize the UGC-NET examination cycles, the National Testing Agency (NTA), with the concurrence of UGC, has merged both UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles so that they be conducted together in CBT mode. The Application process is therefore being reopened for the new applicants to fill in and submit their forms.

The candidates who have registered for UGC-NET of December 2020 cycle but have not been able to complete the application process, can also complete and submit the application form online on the website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in, www.nta.ac.in

The candidates who want to apply for June 2021 UGC NET exam can register online through NTA Website: https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in from 10 August to 05 September 2021 (up to 11:50 pm). The UGC –NET exam for Dec 2020 and June 2021 will be held from October 6 to October 11, 2021.

The slots of JRFs of both UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles will be merged, while the methodology for Subject-wise cum Category-wise allocation of JRFs shall remain unchanged.
