UGC- NET 2022 Exam notification released; Apply till May 20

UGC- NET 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released UGC NET 2022 notification and application form. The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ and eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ in 82 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates can apply for UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 cycles till May 20.

The final date for UGC-NET 2022 exam is not announced yet.

According to the official statement, “The slots of JRF of both UGC-NET December 2021 & June 2022 cycles have been merged while the methodology for Subject wise cum Category-wise allocation of JRF remain unchanged”.

Register and fill the application form
Enter the required details, upload documents and pay the exam fee.

Now CA, CS, ICWA exams will be considered equivalent to PG Degree: University Grants Commission

The University Grants Commission on Monday announced that from now on CA (Chartered Accountant), CS (Company Secretary), ICWA (Cost and Works Accountant) exams will be treated as post-graduate degrees.

ICAI- Institute of Chartered Accountants of India informed via tweet that The University Grants Commission @ugc_india has resolved that CA Qualification will be treated equivalent to PG Degree based on requests submitted from @theicai. This will not only help CA’s for pursuing higher studies but will also facilitate the mobility of Indian CAs globally.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India also thanked UGC for approving their request. It mentioned,” #UGC recognizes #CompanySecretary Qualification as equivalent to PG Degree based on representations submitted by #ICSI. From now, CA, CS, and ICWA candidates can also appear for UGC NET exam.

New dates announced for BITSAT 2020, Exam in August

BITSAT 2020– The BITS (The Birla Institute of Technology and Science) for entry into its integrated first-degree programs of BITS Pilani (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad campuses) conduct BITSAT every year. This year BITSAT 2020 was scheduled to be held from May 16 to 25, 2020 but due to novel coronavirus, it was postponed.

Now at the institute’s official website, the new date for the BITSAT 2020 has been announced. Now, the BITSAT 2020 will be held from August 6 to 10, 2020.
