Lies on the banks of Jhelum river, Kashmir has pleasant climate to enjoy during summer and winters. Winters are very cold and summers are moderately warm. The other cities near to Srinagar which are indeed serene and major tourist attraction are Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg Jammu. The best time to visit and view the panaromic beauty of the place is during the Autumn months from September to November. It is well connected by a network of roads to Chandigarh, Gulmarg, Jammu, Sonamarg, Delhi and Pahalgam. By air, The Srinagar International Airport is well connected to major cities in and outside India and Jammu tawi is nearest Railway station to the city.
