The next tourist destination in Andamans includes the famous Kala Pani cellular jail, a former British prison in Andaman, where our freedom fighters and brave soldiers were punished. The prison was established in 1897. It has 694 cells. The names of freedom fighters are written on the walls of the jail even today and those weapons can also be seen in the museum from which the freedom fighters were persecuted.

How to reach Andaman and Nicobar Island

Near the river source, the Yamunotri temple is situated dedicated to the goddess Yamuna. The goddess Yamuna resides in a temple in a black marble idol. It is a sacred place like the Gangotri temple. A small hot water spring known as Surya Kund is there near the Yamuna river where devotees boil rice and potatoes tied in a muslin cloth.  Near Surya Kund, there is a Shila called Divya Shila, which is worshipped before puja is offered to the deity.
