On Friday, Marvel India announced on its social media account that the film will be released in India on July 7, rather than July 8.

“Get ready for the ultimate ‘THORSDAY’! Marvel Studios’ #ThorLoveAndThunder arrives in cinemas in India a day before, on the 7th of July,” mentioned on the post on the Marvel India Official Twitter account.

Hemsworth reprises his role as the superhero in “Thor: Love and Thunder,” a character he has previously performed in three solos and four “Avengers” flicks. Taika Waititi, the director of the 2017 hit “Thor: Ragnarok,” has directed the new instalment.

“Thor: Love and Thunder” will also feature Oscar winner Natalie Portman as Jane Foster from 2011’s “Thor” and 2013’s “Thor: The Dark World”, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Russell Crowe as Zeus, and Jaimie Alexander as Sif.

The movie is produced by Kevin Feige-led Marvel Studios. It will release in India in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
