In that scenario, Sri Lanka’s women scored 121 runs on the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. In the 1st inning, the batting lineup collapsed very badly, and the opener, Vishmi Gunaratne, made 39 runs in 43 balls. 

Kranti Gaud, Deepti Sharma, and Nallapureddy Charani took 3 wickets each, and also 3 sharp run-outs were done by them. And these collective efforts stopped Sri Lanka’s women at 121 runs.

In the 2nd inning, Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma opened the inning for Indian Team. Samriti was successful in giving a positive start to India, but Shefali gave her wicket at 9 runs.

Jemimah Rodrigues scored 69 runs in 44 balls and led India towards victory in the game. She was named Player of the Match for her impressive and sharp performance in the match. 
Sri Lanka’s bowlers Inoka Ranaweera and Kawya Kavindi took wickets of the opening batswomen Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma. With the powerful performance of Jemimah Rodrigues, India won the match by 8 wickets and scored 122 runs in 14.4 overs. India leads the series 1-0.

New Zealand vs West Indies 5th T20I played in Duendin on November 13. New Zealand won the toss and opted to bowl first. 

Shai Hope started the innings with the West Indian flavour. Starts the over with six and ends the over with four. Jacob Duffy conceded 12 runs in the first over. From the second over, the black caps start dominating the game. Jamieson took Athanaze’s wicket. Jacob Duffy, in his second over, took revenge on Shai Hope on the first ball. Jacob ends his second over with 3 wickets of Shai Hope, Ackeem Auguste, and Rutherford. Only this over twisted the game in favour of New Zealand.

West Indies tried to recover from that over. Hit 15 runs in the last over of the power-play. West Indies scored 47 in the power play, but they lost 4 wickets. Michael Bracewell removed Powell in the 7th over. Neesham took the wicket of Roston Chase. Roston scored 38 runs. In the next over, Ish Sodhi took the wicket of Holder. West Indies were losing wickets back-to-back. Santner took the wicket of Forde. Shepherd tried to increase the scoring rate but got out after scoring 17 runs against Jacob Duffy.

Neesham took the last wicket of Jayden Seales. West Indies posted a total of 140 runs. Tim Robinson shattered the hope of the West Indies by scoring 45 runs in 24 balls. Shepherd’s ball bowled out Robinson. Shamar Springer took the wicket of Ravindra.. Chapman and Conway end the game comfortably. Chapman scored 21 runs and Conway scored 47 runs.

Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe 3-Match T20I series.  Afghanistan whitewashed Zimbabwe after facing defeat in the only test match.

Afghanistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Gurbaz and Ibrahim opened for Afghanistan, a perfect duo of aggressive and classical batsmen. Gurbaz showed his flair in the first over, hitting 19 runs against Wellington. Ibrahim also started scoring runs with his classic approach. Both batters hit 23 runs in the fourth over. Afghanistan scored 73 runs on the power play.

Gurbaz dominated Ryan Burl. Gurabaz hit 4, 4, 6, 4, 6, and 6 in the 14th over. Gurbaz got out on 92 runs in just 48 balls. Ibrahim also got out in the next over on 60 runs. Sediqullah Atal played a cameo in the end, scoring 35 runs in just 15 balls.

Zimbabwe’s start was not ideal. Dion Myers got out to Fazalhaq Farooqi in the 3rd over. In the same over, Brendan Taylor also got out. Sikandar Raza and Brian Bennett build a partnership. But Raza was bowled out in Nabi’s over. Scored 51 runs in just 29 balls. Brian Bennett also got out soon on 47 runs.

Ryan Burl tried but was bowled out by Mujeeb. Ryan scored 37 runs in just 15 balls. The Zimbabwe players tried very well but fell short. Afghanistan won by 9 runs.
