2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Motor and driveline

The new Skoda Kodiaq has a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that works closely with a seven-stage DCT-automatic transmission. It has maximum power of 201 HP and 320 Nm of torque. It is based on a 4×4 system, which increases the efficiency of the driveline.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Price

Skoda Kodiak is launched in India and has two variants, sports line and L&C available, which is Rs 46.89,000 (ex-showroom) and Rs 48,69,000 (ex-showroom) respectively in the Indian market.

The name KUSHAQ is quite different and has been taken from Sanskrit word ‘Kushak’ which means an emperor or ruler. Skoda Kushaq is available in five vibrant color options- Torando Red Metallic, Candy White, Carbon Steel Metallic, Honey Orange Metallic.

Skoda Kushaq features

The Skoda Kushaq is powered by a 1.0-liter TSI engine with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission both. A 1.5-liter TSI petrol engine is planned, although it will not be available until July 2021.

The 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine produces 115 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. The 1.5-liter TSI four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine produces 150 bhp of power and 250 Nm of maximum torque. It will be equipped with the same 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DST automatic transmission.

Skoda Kushaq – Design

The SUV’s front appearance enhances with Sharp LED projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. It has a Skoda Signature Style chrome-finished butterfly grille. In the rear, LED taillamps have been given. It gets sporty 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and dual-tone bumpers. However, its entry-level and mid variants will only get 16-inch steel rims and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Skoda Kushaq – Cabin and features

Skoda Kushaq gets functionally sound interiors onboard. It has wireless front charging, 25.4 cm infotainment with SKODA play app, SMARTLINK connectivity, Apple car play, and Android Auto, a two-spoke steering wheel, a six-speaker premium audio system, ventilated front seats, and ambient lighting among other features. The cabin offers enough space for a comfortable journey.
