On May 31^st, Vidya Balan shared the teaser of her upcoming film Sherni. The Sherni Trailer will launch on June 2.

In the first teaser of Sherni, Vidya is seen as a forest officer backed by police officers walking through a forest region. A close-up shows her examining the forest intently as if looking for something important.

This film Sherni is going to be released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video in June. Sherni is directed by Amit Masurkar, and along with Vidya Balan stars Sharad Saxena, Vijay Raaz, Mukul Chaddha, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala, and Neeraj Kabi. The movie has been jointly produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment.

The film Sherni is inspired by real-life incidents in which Vidya is playing the role of a forest officer who works for maintaining balance in the world of man-animal conflict. The Amazon Prime Video also made the announcement with the caption, No matter what, she will do the right thing! Trailer out, June 2. Meet #SherniOnPrime, June 2021.

Sherni Poster was earlier released

In the Sherni Poster, Vidya Balan dressed as a forest officer with an intense look on the face. The film, ‘Sherni’ was announced last year in March 2020 has now shared a new look of it.

Actress Vidya Balan took to her official social media handle and posted a poster of the film. She wrote, “Fearless as she steps out into the world!… Happy to announce my latest film ‘Sherni’ @primevideoin… Meet #SherniOnPrime in June.”
