Saina is directed by Amol Gupte, Produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banner T-Series. Parineeti Chopra is playing the titular role i.e. She is playing the role of Saina Nehwal in the Saina movie. Initially, this role was assigned to Shraddha Kapoor, but she opted out.

Parineeti Shared the theatrical release news of Saina on her Twitter account. Along with Parineeti Chopra, Manav Kaul and Paresh Rawal are also in the lead role in the Saina film. The film will hit the theatres on March 26, 2021.
