In the first look of ‘Sharma Ji Namkeen’, you can see Rishi Kapoor walking in fun wearing a jersey, a muffler around his neck, and a suitcase in his hand. Along with it, Paresh Rawal is seen in the second part in the same look.

In Sharmaji Namkeen, Rishi Kapoor’s unfinished role has been completed by Paresh Rawal. After the death of Rishi Kapoor,  Paresh Rawal has completed its shooting. Rishi Kapoor died on 30 April 2020 due to leukemia.

Sharma ji Namkeen is Hitesh Bhatia’s directorial debut. Juhi Chawla is also going to appear in an important role in the film. The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Honey Trehan, Abhishek Chaubey and co-produced by Kasim Jagmagia.

Neetu Kapoor wrote, ‘RIP’ after the death of Rajiv Kapoor

The entire Bollywood has been plunged into mourning. Bollywood celebrities are paying tribute to him. Actor Rajiv Kapoor made his debut with the film ‘Ek Jaan Hain Hum’ in 1983. But ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ was his most memorable film, in which he appeared opposite to Actress Mandakini. The film was a super hit at the box office.

Rajeev Kapoor was the youngest son of Raj Kapoor. His brother Rishi Kapoor died last year in April after suffering from cancer.

His family member shared a statement

Our dear Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully at 8:45 am IST in hospital today after a two-year battle with leukemia. The doctors and medical staff at the hospital said he kept them entertained to the last. He remained jovial and determined to live to the fullest right through two years of treatment across two continents. Family, friends, food, and films remained his focus and everyone who met him during this time was amazed at how he did not let his illness get the better of him.

He was grateful for the love of his fans that poured in from the world over. In his passing, they would all understand that he would like to be remembered with a smile and not with tears. In this hour of personal loss, we also recognize the world is going through a very difficult and troubled time. There are numerous restrictions around movement and gathering in public. We would like to request all his fans and well-wishers and friends of the family to please respect the laws that are in force. He would not have it any other way.

Amitabh Bacchan tweeted “He’s GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !”

The actor was last seen in Emraan Hashmi’s The Body and had recently announced his next project, a remake of Hollywood film The Intern.
