The post The Empire Trailer: Nikhil Advani’s epic serial to release on Disney+Hotstar on August 27 first appeared on Jugaadin News .]]> Based on Alex Rutherford’s novel Empire of the Moghul: Raiders from the North, The Empire series shows the saga of an empire from the valley of Ferghana to Samarkand and beyond.

From the pages of Empire of the Moghul: Raiders from the North by Alex Rutherford comes the story that focuses on the rise and fall of the Mughal Empire through generations from Babur to Aurangzeb.

The Empire trailer unveiled by Disney+ Hotstar and the 8-episode series will release on the OTT platform on August 27. Filmmaker Nikkhil Advani of Emmay Entertainment produced The Empire – a fiction saga of a warrior-turned-king, directed by Mitakshara Kumar, and screenplay has been credited to Bhavani Iyer.

Disney Plus Hotstar unveiled the Empire Trailer by captioning, “The story of a king battling against enemies, fate, family, death and even himself, in search of his kingdom. Actor Kunal Kappor as Babur, Drashti Dhami as Khanzada Begum, Shabana Azmi as Esan Daulat, Aditya Seal as Humayun and Dino Morea as Shaibani Khan are in the lead roles of the Empire series.

 The Empire shot across multiple locations in India and Uzbekistan. The Empire teaser depicts a magnificent and overwhelming experience filled with epic battlegrounds, magnificent forts, and glorified dresses.

The Empire will stream on Disney+Hotstar from 27th August 2021, exclusively for all subscribers of the platform.

The Sanjay Dutt starrer Torbaaz film is going to release on the OTT platform Netflix.  Torbaaz is Sanjay Dutt’s second film after Sadak 2 which is scheduled to be released on the OTT platform.

The film will be released on Netflix on the 11th of December. The trailer shows that most of the film has been shot in Afghanistan. Nargis Fakhri will be seen alongside Sanjay Dutt in the film. In Torbaaz, Sanjay Dutt is in the role of a cricket coach who teaches cricket to children in Afghanistan’s Refugee Camp who are made suicide bombers. He tries his best to keep children away from guns and bombs through cricket. The film is directed by Girish Malik and also stars Rahul Dev
