Shamshera is the story of a hero who is a dacoit by karma and free by dharma. Ranbir Kapoor rough and rustic look will spellbind you. His Long hair, beard, and moustache are heart-wrenching. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt look is also praise-worthy. He is in the role of Inspector Shuddh Singh a perfect villain.

The trailer starts with a monologue that used to say that slavery is not good for anyone and no one gives you freedom. Freedom has to be snatched… this is the story of Shamshera. In Shamshera, Ranbir Kapoor is a robber. He along with his gang has gone to mess with the Britishers. To stop his activities, Britishers sent Inspector Shuddh Singh (Sanjay Dutt). When they two meet, the story of real fearless shamshera begins. Shamshera is the story of a dacoit tribe based in the 1800s who are fighting with the Britishers for their freedom.
