The company launched this phone in India on 9th October. The price of this phone is at Rs 8,999, which is of its 4GB + 64GB variant. Xiaomi says that up to the first 50 lakh units of this phone, it will be made available for Rs 7,999.

Camera

This smartphone has a dual rear camera in Redmi 8. Its primary camera is 12 megapixels, the second camera is 2 megapixels. HDR support has also been provided in its camera. The camera interface also includes support for Google lenses. An 8-megapixel front camera has been given in Redmi 8 for a selfie.

Features

Premium features such as rear fingerprint scanner and face unlock are also provided in the smartphone. For power, a 5,000mAh battery has been given in Redmi 8. The company claims that it will provide a 27-day standby backup. For connectivity, USB Type C has been supported in Redmi 8, which comes with the support of 18W fast charging.
