The post Choked: Anurag Kashyap tackles demonetization in his new Netflix film first appeared on Jugaadin News .]]> Anurag Kashyap is all set to release his next film Choked: paisa bolta hai on Netflix. Choked is an upcoming 2020 Indian thriller drama film directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Nihit Bhave. A few days back Netflix released the trailer of the movie. The film features Saiyami Kher, Roshan Mathew, Amruta Subhash, Rajshri Deshpande. Anurag Kashyap has also earlier collaborated with Netflix, for projects like Sacred Games, ghost stories, and Lust Stories. Netflix’s Sacred Games season 3 release will there be another series.

In the film choked, Saiyami Kher plays the role of a middle-class working woman named, Sarita Pillai, who works as a cashier in a bank.  Sarita’s fate changes, when she accidentally discovers cash flowing out of her kitchen sink every midnight. She starts using the cash for fulfilling her every desire. Sarita’s new life comes to a halt after the government announces demonetization.

The film is set to premiere on June 5 on Netflix.
