The engineering exam,  JEE MAIN (Joint entrance examination) will be held from July 18-23, while the medical entrance exam NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) will be conducted on July 26. National Testing Agency or NTA, the national body that conducts the JEE MAIN/ ADVANCE and NEET, had postponed these exams in March last week due to the spread of coronavirus. They have scheduled these exams for May 2020 but due to an increase in the number of COVID patients, the exams will now going to held in July.

A decision will soon be taken on the pending CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams,”  Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank added. The online registration process will begin from December 2 and goes till December 31. From 2020, NEET has become mandatory for all the students who are seeking admission to MBBS/ BDS courses in all medical colleges/institutes including AIIMS and JIPMER. NEET 2020 is an offline based exam that shall be conducted in 11 languages including English and Hindi. It will be a 3 Hour examination containing 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
