UGC-NET Dec 2023 exam online registration process started on September 30. The agency has also mentioned in the official notification that the last date for the online application form is October 28, 2023.

Interested candidates can apply for the University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test(UGC-NET) through the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC-NET Dec 2023 exams will be held from December 6 to December 22, 2023. Candidates can avail their admit card in the first week of December.

UGC NET Application Fee

General/Unreserved category applicants will have to pay ₹ 1150. General EWS/OBC-NCL applicants will have to pay ₹ 600, and SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender applicants will have to pay ₹ 325.

According to official notification, Due to the postponement of December 2020 UGC-NET in view of COVID-19, the schedule of June 2021 UGCNET has been delayed. In order to regularize the UGC-NET examination cycles, the National Testing Agency (NTA), with the concurrence of UGC, has merged both UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles so that they be conducted together in CBT mode. The Application process is therefore being reopened for the new applicants to fill in and submit their forms.

The candidates who have registered for UGC-NET of December 2020 cycle but have not been able to complete the application process, can also complete and submit the application form online on the website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in, www.nta.ac.in

The candidates who want to apply for June 2021 UGC NET exam can register online through NTA Website: https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in from 10 August to 05 September 2021 (up to 11:50 pm). The UGC –NET exam for Dec 2020 and June 2021 will be held from October 6 to October 11, 2021.

The slots of JRFs of both UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles will be merged, while the methodology for Subject-wise cum Category-wise allocation of JRFs shall remain unchanged.

Today, Union education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal in a tweet announced that NTA will conduct the UGC-NET exam for JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor from May 2 to 17, 2021.

Interested candidates can see the details in the information bulletin on UGC-NET December 2020 cycle (May 2021) available on the website www.nta.ac.in and https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in from February 2, 2021. The candidates who want to apply for the UGC-NET exam can apply online from February 2 till March 2. The last date to deposit the fee is March 3.

The last date to apply for the exam is March 30. NTA will conduct exam from June 20 to 28, 2019. The test will have two papers, Paper I and Paper –II based on the new syllabus updated on the UGC-NET website.
