Mitchell Marsh gave a good start to the Perth Scorchers. Finn Allen also gave a good start but got out to Nathan Ellis. Cooper Connolly got out early to Mitchell Owen. Aaron Hardie played a blistering innings. Aaron Hardie scored 94 in 43 balls. Aaron just shocked the bowlers with his power innings. 

Riley Meredith gave 61 runs in his spell. Nathan Ellis took 2 wickets, and Mitchell Owen took 1 wicket. Mitchell Marsh scored a century. Mitchell scored 102 in 58 balls. Perth Scorchers scored 229 runs.

Tim Ward and Mitchell Owen opened for the Hobart Hurricanes. Tim Ward scored 27. Mitchell Owen scored only 4 runs. Macalister Wright and Ben McDermott both played average innings. Nikhil Chaudhary scored 31 runs in 15 balls. Matthew Wade also played a fast innings and scored 29 runs quickly. 

Captain Nathan Ellis and Rehan Ahmed gave a try but fell short in the chase. Joel Paris and Aaron Hardie each took 2-2 wickets. Agar got 3 wickets. Cooper Connolly bowled tight overs. Cooper Connolly gave tough times to batters. Cooper and Brody Couch each took 1 wicket.
