BCCI Women shared the news via tweet and congratulated Mithali Raj by captioning,

Mithali, who was playing her 212th ODI for India, reached the milestone with a boundary off medium-pacer Anne Bosch in the third match of the bilateral series against South Africa before being bowled out the next ball. Mithali has 663 runs in ten Tests, with the highest score of 214 and an average of 51. Mithali has an excellent 37.52 average in T20Is, having scored 2364 runs in 89 games.

She is the recipient of several national and international awards, including the Wisden Leading Woman Cricketer in the World in 2017, Arjuna Award in 2003, and the Padma Shri in 2015, both by the Government of India.
