The launch was scheduled for 15th July but due to some technical glitches. The countdown was halted just before 56 minutes and 24 seconds to the launch.

The main cause of the issue is not identified yet. According to ISRO, there was some technical fault which was observed in the launch vehicle system at 1 hour before the launch. The “Chandrayaan 2” launch is now aborted and the new dates will be announced later.
