Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in a video tweet launches the Manodarpan and said “Manodarpan’s objective is to support students, teachers, and parents. The portal will help them in guiding on how to cope with stress in these hard times.” Minister of State for HRD, Secretaries of the Department of Higher Education, and the School Education and Literacy and senior officials of the Ministry were also present during the virtual launch of the portal.

The ‘Manodarpan’ initiative has been included in the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan so as to provide psychological support to students to combat difficult situations.  

Under the initiative, different advisory for the psychosocial support & mental health promotion for school students and university/college students are issued.

On the Manodarpan Portal, various tips for students, teachers, and parents are given to follow to cope with the stress during the pandemic situation.
