Contemporary and aerodynamic looks characterize the Mahindra BE 6. Dual-pod auto LED headlights, LED tail lights, and 18-inch aerodynamically designed wheels with black body cladding add to its exterior design, but it boasts a worthy front trunk or “frunk” with some additional storage space.

Performance and Battery Options of Mahindra BE6 EV

The BE 6 comes with two options for battery pack capacity:

• 59 kWh Battery Pack- 231 hp; 380 Nm of torque. The range, according to ARAI, is 556 km.
• 79 kWh Battery Pack- 286 hp; 380 Nm of torque. The ARAI-confirmed range is 682 km.

There are both rear-wheel variants and they also come with fast charging capabilities – it can charge 20-80% in about 20 minutes on a 175 kW DC fast charger. 

Safety and Technology of Mahindra BE6 EV

Safety aspects in the BE 6 are six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, electronic parking brakes, driver drowsiness detection, and a rear parking camera with sensors. ADAS, including adaptive cruise control and front parking sensors, are available in higher variants.

On Friday, Mahindra & Mahindra launched its popular SUV, the Mahindra XUV300 Turbosport. The Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport is offered in three trim options – W6, W8 and W8(O), priced from Rs 10.35 lakh to Rs. 12.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is the first Mahindra SUV to be powered by an all-new 1.2-litre mStallion TGDi engine which is tuned to make around 128 bhp at 5000 rpm and develops a peak torque of 230 Nm at 1500-3750 rpm.

Mahindra’s new SUV comes in three colour options – Blazing Bronze, Pearl White and Napoli Black, which are offered in dual- options as well.

The Mahindra XUV300 TGDi is equipped with an 1197 cc, inline-3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline direct injection (TGDi) motor that comes with four valves and dual VVT (variable valve timing) technology. The SUV can do a 0-60 kmph sprint in 5 seconds and comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.

The company says that the XUV300 TurboSport draws inspiration from the Mahindra Super XUV300 but to signify its sporty look,  it includes – piano black finishes, red accents on the grille and bumper, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, and a dual-tone exterior option.

The cabin gets premium leatherette upholstery, an all-black interior with red accents and chrome-finish pedals.

Other prominent features of the Mahindra XUV 300 Turbosport include – passive keyless entry with push button start,  a 7-inch touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an electric sunroof with anti-pinch function, rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone automatic air-con system, auto headlamps etc.
