Mahindra says the Supro ambulance is equipped with essential equipment such as a foldable stretcher cum trolley, medical kit box, provision for oxygen cylinders, internal lighting with fire extinguishers, flame-resistant interiors. On the outside, the vehicle is equipped with AIS 125 certified retro-reflector decals, 75% frosted windows, and a beacon light with a siren.

Pawan Goenka, MD of Mahindra & Mahindra has presented 12 Mahindra Supro Ambulance to Maharashtra Government. These ambulances will be deployed to serve various hospitals in Mumbai. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s son and Minister Aditya Thackeray tweeted and thanked Mahindra CEO Anand Mahindra and MD Pawan Goenka. These vehicles have been handed over to the BMC by CM UddhavThackeray.

Aditya Thackeray has tweeted that the Maharashtra government is buying 80 ambulances which will have a variety of emergency facilities. He also thanked other ministers of the government for purchasing the ambulance. He also thanked Deepak Fertilizers and Tata Trusts for their help.

Uddhav said that on his request, Anand Mahindra immediately arranged for a special ambulance, he is grateful to him for this cooperation. The pressure on government resources has increased significantly due to increasing cases of corona infection in Maharashtra. In such a situation, this ambulance can prove to be very helpful.

Mahindra Scorpio Price

The company has not disclosed the price of the new Scorpio BS6. Its price will be revealed at the time of launching. The Scorpio BS4 starts at Rs 10 lakh. The price of the BS6 model is also likely to remain the same. Mahindra did something similar during the launch of the XUV300 BS6 diesel model. Bookings for the new Scorpio are expected to start soon after the lockdown ends.

S5 variants         

The S5 variant will get a 120bhp power engine with a 5-speed manual, while other variants will get a 140bhp power engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox. There will be no option for an automatic transmission with this engine.

The SUV features an all-black 7-slot grille, body-colored bumpers, and side cladding, black ORVMs, clear lens turn indicators, hub cups with black steels, rear footrest, LED taillamps, hood scoop, fender bezels finish in black and High-mounted stop lamps will be found.

Talking about other features of the S5 variant, this model now includes manual HVAC systems, manual lift adjustment to ORVMs, tilt-adjustable steering, fabric upholstery, manual central locking system, lead-me-to-vehicle headlamps, remote fuel lid opener switches and Features such as headlamp leveling, 12V power socket silver side footstep, static roof lamp will be available. Apart from this, it also gets Intellipark and micro-hybrid technology.

A lot of things will be found in the safety features of the S5 variant. This variant will get dual airbags, ABS, speed alert, speed-sensing door lock, seat belt reminder, speed-sensing door lock, panic brake indicator, collapsible steering column and side intrusion beam, and engine immobilizer.

S7 variants

Apart from the features found in the S5 variant, the S7 variant will get silver grille inserts, projector headlamps, body-colored ORVMs, LED stop lamps, roof rails, rear spoiler, silver rear number plate, fender bezels finish in silver.

Talking about the interiors, the S7 variant features front armrests, electrically adjustable ORVMs, power window switches on the doors, chrome finish for AC vents, height-adjustable driver seat, sunglass holders, speakers and tweeters, rear wipers and washers, follow-me- Features like home headlamps, black side footsteps, puddle lamps, swivel with roof lamps will be available. The SUV also gets a 2DIN audio system (CD / USB / AUX-IN), voice assist system, remote central lock and anti-theft warning.

S9 variants

In addition to all the features found in the S7 variant, the S9 variant will get static bending features for headlamps, side indicators with LED DRLs, ORVMs.

Talking about the interiors, the S9 variant will get steering mounted audio, cruise control, fully automatic climate control, anti-pinch, and anti-roll-up driver windows and all four power windows, front fog lamps, and emergency call function. Apart from this, it will get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, driver information app. This app will show information like Fuel Economy, Distance to Empty, Service Reminder onscreen. Apart from this, speed-sensing volume control and gear position indicators will be available. will be given.

S11 variants

Apart from all the features found in the S9 variant, other features will be found in the top variant S11 of Scorpio. It gets alloy wheels, chrome inserts for the grille, chrome bezels for the foglamps, fox upholstery, faux leather mounted steering and gear lever.
