The trailer of Salaam Venky begins with the mother Sujata (Kajol) and son Venky (Vishal Jethwa). In the film, Venky is so ill, which is driving him to death with each passing day and he cannot even walk. His wheelchair and mother Sujata are his only support. The vivacious Venky wants his mother to fulfill his last wish, but Sujatha, who obeys the son, refuses to fulfill Venky’s last wish. Now what is Venky’s last wish, which has become a wall between him and his mother, this is what the story of the film tells.

Along with Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Aahana Kumra and Prakash Raj are also in the film, but the most surprising character in the film is Aamir Khan.
