<p class="has-medium-font-size">On Thursday, Union HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal said that in view of the prevailing circumstances, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has decided to relax the eligibility criterion for admissions to NITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions. The decision has been taken</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Minister Dr. Ramesh pokhriyal on his official twitter handle wrote, “JEE Main 2020 qualified candidates will now only need to obtain a passing certificate in class XII examination irrespective of the marks obtained.”  </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Earlier, for getting admission in NITs &amp; other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, a student has to secure a minimum of 75% marks in XII Board exams or rank among the top 20 percentile in their qualifying examinations along with qualifying JEE Main was mandatory. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>JEE MAIN &amp; NEET 2020:</strong> Today, <strong>Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal &#8216;Nishank&#8217; announced the new dates for JEE MAINS and NEET 2020 exams.</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">The engineering exam, <strong>&nbsp;JEE MAIN (Joint entrance examination) </strong>will be held <strong>from July 18-23, while the medical entrance exam NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) will be conducted on July 26</strong>. <strong>The&nbsp;JEE Advanced&nbsp;(also known as IIT entrance) exam after JEE MAIN, will be held in August.</strong>&nbsp;                                                         <a href="https://twitter.com/DrRPNishank/status/1257558593269665795">https://twitter.com/DrRPNishank/status/1257558593269665795</a></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>National Testing Agency or NTA, the national body that conducts the JEE MAIN/ ADVANCE and NEET</strong>, had postponed these exams in March last week due to the <strong>spread of coronavirus.</strong> They have scheduled these exams for May 2020 but due to an increase in the number of COVID patients, the exams will n<strong>ow going to held in July.</strong> </p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="has-medium-font-size">The <strong>National Testing Agency h</strong>as released the <strong>JEE Main</strong> schedule for the year <strong>2020</strong>. It will conduct JEE Main from <strong>January 6 to 11, 2020</strong> while the April exams will be held from<strong> 9 to 13</strong>. In a schedule released on <strong>August 21</strong>, the NTA has announced that the application process for the JEE Main for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture colleges across the country will begin from <strong>September 2 (Monday). </strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"> The exam, just like last year, will be held twice. This first session will be held in <strong>January and second in April.</strong> The exam is in online mode. Candidates can apply at <strong>jeemain.nic.in</strong> or <strong>nta.ac.in</strong>. </p>
