Ranveer Singh playing the titular character “Jayeshbhai jordaar” shared the trailer of the movie on his twitter handle.

The Jayeshbhai Jordaar trailer begins with a girl child requesting a ban on alcohol and complaining to the village sarpanch (Boman Irani) about the alcoholism and eve teasing problem near schools. He gives ridiculous solution to the problem, that girls must cease using perfumed soaps. Ranveer Singh decides to nod in agreement with his father’s and mother’s decisions (played by Ratna Pathak Shah). When Jayesh finds that his wife (Shalini Panday) is expecting a child, the path of his activities changed. His family is keen to have a son, Jayeshbhai ends up going against the society and takes a stand for his wife and daughters.  

Made under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the film Jayeshbhai Jordaar is directed by Divyang Thakkar. This is Divyang’s first film as a director. Producer Aditya Chopra’s film is being released in theaters on May 13 this year.

Ranveer Singh’s film ’83’, is also coming and in this film, he will be seen playing the role of cricketer Kapil Dev. His film is based on the victory of the Indian cricket team in the 1983 World Cup. Actress Deepika Padukone will also be seen with her in this film.
