The April session exam will be conducted on April 5, 7, 9 and 11, 2020. The examination will be held in the morning and evening shift at 255 test centers in India and 9 centers abroad. The admit card for JEE Main April session 2020 is to be released by NTA on March 16. The JEE Main April 2020 exam is going to be conducted in computer-based test mode.

Who can Apply

 There is no age bar for candidates who appear in JEE (Main) exam. Students who have passed senior secondary in the year 2018, 2019 and at present in the class can apply for the exam. Moreover, the IITs allow only two attempts for the JEE (Advanced), that is, a candidate should have appeared for the class 12 (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2019 or 2020.

 Through JEE Main exams candidates can take admission in IITs, NITs, and CFTIs.

 After qualifying JEE Main exam candidates need to give JEE Advance to get the final scorecard.

 Documents Required:

 • Marksheet of class 10th

 • Marksheet of class 12th

 • Diploma or degree course certificate/ mark sheet

 • Academic details

 • Employment Certificates (if any)

 • Reservation Certificates (if applicable)

 Image dimensions: The candidate’s image should be in passport size with dimensions-30mm X 45mm.

 Signature dimensions: The scanned image of the signature should be of the dimensions — 80mm X 35mm.

 The documents file format should be a .jpg or .jpeg and therefore the file size shouldn’t be more than 80KB each.

Candidates who have failed the JEE Main January exam can reattempt in the April session exam. Moreover, those that aren’t satisfied with their January exam scores also can appear for the April exam.

 The exam, just like last year, will be held twice. This first session will be held in January and second in April. The exam is in online mode. Candidates can apply at jeemain.nic.in or nta.ac.in.

Engineering is not a limiting factor or option for the student going for non medical stream. He can also go for individual specialization like Astrophysics, Nuclear and Atomic physics, Molecular physics, Optical physics, Meteorology, Chemical engineering, Biochemistry, Nuclear chemistry, Medicinal chemistry, Applied mathematics, Computational mathematics, Complex dynamics, Fluid mechanics, Image processing, Statistics.

However, one should not be limited by this article and also consult the experienced faculties too.
