England won the toss and decided to bowl first. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul entered the field to bat for India. India scored 168 runs in 20 overs against England.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">&nbsp;England took 6 wickets while bowling brilliantly. India got the first blow when KL Rahul got out at 5 runs. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma shared a partnership of 47 runs. Chris Jordan took the wicket of Rohit Sharma while giving 27 runs individually. Rohit Sharma got out after scoring a half-century for 56 runs. Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya shared a half-century partnership. Hardik Pandya scored 63 runs in 33 balls hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">England batted brilliantly accepting the target given by India. England played an innings of 170 runs in 16 overs without losing a wicket. Alex Hales and Jos Buttler started brilliantly. Alex scored 86 runs in 47 balls and Butler scored 80 runs in 49 balls to register a spectacular victory for England. Buttler hit 9 fours and 3 sixes and Hales hit 4 fours and 7 sixes to make England win. With this victory of England, India lost the tournament.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">ICC T20 World Cup 2022 finals will be played between Pakistan and England on Nov. 13.</p>

Pakistan beat New Zealand by 7 wickets to register their name in the finals.  After 2009, Pakistan stepped into the finals in 2022. At that time, Pakistan had registered a victory in the tournament.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan. After losing the toss, Pakistan continued its efforts to capture the semi-finals from the very first over. New Zealand was able to score 152 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Daryl Mitchell scored 53 runs in 35 balls. Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell contributed to the score by doing a partnership of 68 runs in 50 balls. New Zealand set a total target of 152 runs.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Mohammad Rizwan completed his half-century in 43 balls and Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam helped Pakistan crosses the target by making a century in 42 balls. With this, Babar and Mohammad Rizwan made a partnership of 105 runs in 76 balls.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Pakistan and New Zealand both performed well in the semi-finals.</p>

India proceeded to make history by defeating England by four wickets in the final to win the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2022 in Antigua. Yash Dhull led his inspired squad of lads gallantly. India was named world champions in the early hours of Sunday morning.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated the Indian cricket team for winning the ICC U19 World Cup.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">&#8220;Extremely proud of our young cricketers. Congratulations to the Indian team for winning the ICC U19 World Cup. They have shown great fortitude through the tournament. Their stellar performance at the highest level shows that the future of Indian cricket is in safe and able hands.&#8221;</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">The Indian Cricket U19 victory is no doubt a country’s victory but for Haryana, it’s a double celebration. The winning team has Rohtak&#8217;s Nishant Sindhu, Hisar&#8217;s Dinesh Bana and Bhiwani&#8217;s Garv Sangwan. Haryana CM Manohar Lal tweeted, “Fabulous! In the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, our young players beat all the teams of the world with excellent sports performance and won the World Cup for India for the fifth time, I congratulate the entire team and all the countrymen on this historic achievement.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">BCCI- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also congratulates India Under-19 team for the title triumph at the Under-19 Men’s World Cup 2022. The BCCI has announced cash rewards for the victorious India U19 team.
