This series is said to be the prequel of Game of Thrones series.

This information is revealed on the official Twitter account of Game of Thrones. The series is co-created by GRRMSpeaking and Ryan Condal. Miguel Sapochnik will partner with Condal as showrunner and will direct the pilot and additional episodes. Condal will be writing the series. This series is based on Fire and Blood by George R.R. Martin.
