Nicola Carey also contributed fast flash runs in the total and helped the Mumbai Indians to make a good total. She scored 38 runs in 23 balls with a strike rate of 165.12 and smashed 6 fours. While bowling, first Renuka Singh Thakur took a 4-wicket haul, which made India’s victory very easy, and Deepti Sharma took a 3-wicket haul, which stopped Sri Lanka at 112 for 7 wickets. Hasini Perera and Imesha Dulani played a tough inning to make sure that Sri Lanka reached 112 runs.

In the 2nd inning, Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma opened for India. Samriti lost her wicket at 1 run, but Shefali stood and scored 79 runs in 42 balls with a strike rate of 188.10 and also smashed 11 fours and 3 sixes.

 After Jemimah’s early wicket, Captain Harmanpreet Kaur made some important runs by supporting Shefali Verma and scored 21 runs in 18 balls with a strike rate of 116.67, and with this India won by 8 wickets with 40 balls left.
