The Google Chrome built-in screenshot tool, allow users to take screenshots of a particular webpage, without having to crop the address bar and the other system elements out of the frame. Users can see the new option to take a screenshot next to the ‘copy link, send to devices and print’ tools located on the share menu.

 And also, the user can edit the taken screenshot without leaving the app. After capturing a screenshot without leaving the browser, the user can now crop it or edit it. Users can do so with the new built-in feature, without leaving the browser to make changes.

When you have taken a screenshot, you will be able to see three buttons – Crop, Text, and Draw. After cropping the relevant parts of the page, you can draw certain elements to highlight any section or add text to the page. Two buttons at the top will also let users undo and redo a particular action while tapping the ‘Next’ button will ask to save or delete the image.

Apple Music subscribers by using their voice can search and play songs and other playlists on Google Assistant-enabled devices like Nest Audio, Nest Hub Max, Nest Mini, and more. This new feature will roll out on Nest and other Assistant-enabled smart speakers and displays in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, and Japan.

To play music from Apple Music, first link your Apple Music account in the Google Home app. You can also select Apple Music as your default music streaming service. Then, all you have to do is say, “Hey Google, play New Music Daily playlist,” or “Hey Google, play Rap Life playlist.”

Also, If you have more than one compatible smart speaker or display, you can use our multi-room control feature in the Google Home app or on a Nest smart display to dynamically move your music from one device to the other, and even play music on all of the devices in your home by saying, “Hey Google, play music on all my speakers.”

According to a report, Google will publish the location data of its users to help the government dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic situation. This will enable the government to know how much social distancing is being implemented.

Location data of users from 131 countries will be made available on a special website called “COVID-19 Community Mobility reports”. In this, there will be data of the user’s movement, including parks, shops, home, workplace, groceries, etc. The company says it’ll contain data from the past several weeks up to until the last 48 to 72 hours.

According to Google, these reports will help in decision making being taken to manage the condition that occurs due to coronavirus outbreak. Google officially said in a statement that, “In addition to other resources public health officials might have, we hope these reports will support decisions about how to manage the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, this information could help officials understand changes in essential trips that can shape recommendations on business hours or inform delivery service offerings”.

The way Google Maps is used to detect traffic jams or to control traffic in the same way, these new reports will provide data of those users who have activated their location history. It has been said in the post that in this report, any user’s data that identifies the person, information about contacts, movements, etc. will not be provided. From China to Singapore and Israel, governments have asked for electronic monitoring of people’s movement to prevent the virus from growing.
