From north Goa to south Goa, numerous beaches calangute , baga, anjuna, candolim, arambol, colva and many more are there for rejuvenation and recreation of the tourists. In north Goa, calangute is the largest beach. It is quite famous and connected to other north beaches like Baga, Anjuna, Candolim, Aguada.

After that they non stop sang many Haryanvi and Punjabi songs to which audience showed their moves. Apart from them, Govt. Girls Senior Sec. School , Mangali gave an appealing performance on a Haryanvi song.

The Raahgiri also witnessed the benefit of Installing Durga Shakti App for girls. Sunita Sharma, Inspector in Hisar Police stated that how this app will provide safety to girls in an emergency. Girls just have to download the app and in emergency it will send the location through GPS to women helpline on 1091.

Anurag Maheshwari , the known artist of hisar from Kalakriti art classes gifted a painting of Former Minister Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee to DSP Sh. The basic concept to start Raahgiri  was as it enables people to come in large numbers for entertainment and fun that promotes well being, fitness and health. No age criteria is there to do cycling, skating, dancing, yoga and many more activities. These all recurring activities are started so that people forget their tension and stress and enjoy some time with others. Government started this Raahgiri for health benefit and to inculcate the feeling of brotherhood among all. So, come and be a part of 22nd July Raahgiri at Mahavir Stadium from 6:00AM to 8AM.

“Currently, 380 courses are offered through this platform and this will be enhanced to 2,000 courses in one year, he said after inauguration of a week-long Teachers Workshop at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) here.

About 60,000 students have already completed their courses through this affordable platform launched last year.

It makes knowledge available anytime anywhere like ATM offers cash, the minister said, adding that it can be termed ‘ATL – Anytime Learning’.

The platform provides high quality education on various subjects from school level (Classes 9-12) to Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses.

As part of this initiative, a week-long teachers’ workshop hosted by the Chief Economic Adviser (CEA), Ministry of Finance began today.

Chief Economic Adviser Arvind Subramanian will be delivering lectures during the workshop on various aspects of the Indian economy based on the last three Economic Surveys.

This course will cover the history of Indian economic development and the current progress, challenges and the strategy going forward. It will cover these themes through the analysis presented in the Economic Surveys of the previous three years (2014-15 to 2016-17).

It will help in developing an in-depth understanding of the Indian economy — its history, recent developments, and impending challenges.

Participants will also become familiar with the current dominant thoughts and tools used for economic policy making and research.
