Chris Jordan took the wicket of Rohit Sharma while giving 27 runs individually. Rohit Sharma got out after scoring a half-century for 56 runs. Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya shared a half-century partnership. Hardik Pandya scored 63 runs in 33 balls hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes.

England batted brilliantly accepting the target given by India. England played an innings of 170 runs in 16 overs without losing a wicket. Alex Hales and Jos Buttler started brilliantly. Alex scored 86 runs in 47 balls and Butler scored 80 runs in 49 balls to register a spectacular victory for England. Buttler hit 9 fours and 3 sixes and Hales hit 4 fours and 7 sixes to make England win. With this victory of England, India lost the tournament.
