Haryana government on Wednesday took a great initiative to ease the process of getting passports to the final year students in government and non-government aided colleges across the state. College and university teachers will now help in getting passport documentation for final year students.

On Official Twitter handle of Directorate of Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Haryana, it was mentioned that University and college principals are directed to designate a teacher as ‘passport officer’ who will help students in getting passport documentation. The steps will aware of students about the possibilities of higher education and job opportunities abroad.

pic.twitter.com/l1k0n43DT1
— DPR Haryana (@DiprHaryana) May 27, 2020

Due to a lack of knowledge and information, most of the students do not apply for getting passports, so all colleges and universities have been directed to designate a teacher as a ‘passport officer’ who will help students in applying, taking appointments, and police verification, etc.
The post Haryana government-directed colleges to establish passport counter for final year students first appeared on Jugaadin News .
