The trailer for Doctor G, starring Ayushmann Khurrana portrays Dr. Uday Gupta, who struggles to be a gynaecologist because he is aware that women do not feel comfortable with male gynaecologists. The trailer opens with Ayushmann getting assaulted in a clinic by a patient’s spouse. Further, Ayushmann, who is uncomfortable treating women, asks a fellow college student to change the subject from him because he wants to study orthopaedics instead of gynaecology. However, the woman refuses and asks the reason, to which Ayushmann says, “Jo mere pass hai hi nahi uska illaj kaise karuinga 

Shefali Shah, playing the role of  Dr Nandini, a gynaecologist and Uday’s teacher, advises him to “loose the male touch,” and treat the patients seriously. In the movie, Rakul Preet Singh playing the role of Dr Fatima, while Sheeba Chaddha plays the role of Ayushmann’s mother.

Ayushmann Khurrana also shared the trailer on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Gynaecology department ki har ek naari, padegi #DoctorG pe bhaari!”

Doctor G movie is Presented by Junglee Pictures, Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, Produced by Vineet Jain and Co-Producer by Amrita Pandey will hit the theatres on October 14.
