Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar & Apoorva Mehta under the banner Dharma Productions, Takht is a period drama set where a brother is betrayed by another brother for the Throne i.e Takht. The Takht is the story of the 2 warring Mughal princes, Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh. Ranveer Singh playing the Dara and Vicky Kaushal is cast as Aurangzeb in the movie Takht.

 Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor are the leading actors that are acting in the movie.  Movie Takht is scheduled to hit the silver screens next year on December 24, 2021. Ranveer Singh shared the teaser on his twitter handle.
