<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Language of Tamil Nadu:-</strong></p>



<p> Tamil is the language mostly used by the people here. The Tamil language is mainly a mixture of two languages that is English and Sanskrit. Many words are taken from English, molded with Sanskrit, and used as the Tamil Language. ( According to Wikipedia, It uses diacritics to map the much larger set of Brahmic consonants and vowels to Latin script, and thus the alphabets of various languages, including English).  It is even used in many other places like Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Malaysia, and Singapore. It is our first classical language and also one of the languages scheduled in our Constitution.</p>

<p>Tamil Nadu is the best place to buy spices as the spices which are grown here like cloves, cardamom, tamarind are exported in different countries. You will get the finest food here both Veg and Non-Veg like Payasam, Rasam, Mutton Curry Coconut, Parotta, Biryani, Upma.</p>



<p>The main ingredient that they use in every dish is Coconut oil, drumsticks, and curry leaves. They have got a lot of snacks too, for example, Banana chips, Bonda, Appalam, Murukku. As it is surrounded by many seas and waterfalls you will also get very delicious seafood. You must try each of these items.</p>

<p>Bharatnatyam is the classical dance of Tamil Nadu which is one the most beautiful form of dance in India along with that there are many more types of dance performed on different occasions and every dance has its own importance. Karakattam is an ancient folk dance that is performed in front of Goddess Mariamma. Kurvanci is another dance form which is performed in the group of few men and women who recite a story of lovers through their dance. Devarattam is called the dance of warriors after the victory. Puppet dance is also famous there which is named Bommalattam. The dance of animals is something which is fascinating to watch as people dressed beautifully like various animals, perform in front of people on different occasions.&nbsp; Tiger dance is called Puliyattam, peacock dance is called Mayilattam, snake dance is called Paampu attam.</p>

<p>Pongal is one of the most popular festivals in Tamil Nadu celebrated for four days straight. It is basically to celebrate the harvest season and dedicated to Lord Indra. In this festival, people decorate cows and make delicious food and sweets called Pongal and offer it to God and to the animals. People exchange gifts with each other to show their gratitude towards each other.&nbsp; Making Rangoli in front of every home is a tradition in Tamil Nadu.</p>

<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Clothing of Tamil Nadu people: </strong></p>



<p>&nbsp;Men in Tamil Nadu wears a long cotton piece of cloth which is draped around the waist called lungi and a shirt along with a cloth named as angvastra. Women wear saree with zari work on it and especially the Kanzhivaram saree and the girls wear a long skirt and a blouse with a dupatta or shawl called Davani.</p>
