Somebody has rightly
said —

“The secret of being Happy is accepting where you are in life and making the most of everyday”

We all know that God exists everywhere and children are the form of God but today our children are feeling depressed and helpless due to the epidemic of Coronavirus that has infected the world. Although novel coronavirus has affected every age group it is the children who got affected the most. Since the day, the government has announced the lockdown, children feel imprisoned in homes like animals in the zoo even though it is not their fault. This lockdown period and quarantine has effected the mental, physical and emotional development of children. They are not allowed to play, they can’t go to school, they can’t meet their friends, no study, no routine, and nothing. Life has become monotonous and still for them. This has made them frustrated, irritated, and stressed and they keep on questioning – Mumma “When it is going to end?”, “Why we are being quarantined?”

Dr. Pooja Grover, a child counselor observed the children’s behavior during this quarantine period and discussed the issue with Jugaadin news. She gives some very useful tips that parent can use to make their bonding strong during this difficult situation. She says “The answers to above questions are not available with any parent. No one wants their child to become lazy, video games freak and active on social networking sites all the time but today’s children don’t want to spend time with family. Though they are at home they are not with the family.

Working parents don’t spend a lot of time with their children that’s why children nowadays feel as if they are being monitored every time by the elders. The parent keeps on telling them what to do and what not to. The independence of 21st-century children is being lost but if we look at the other side, at the same time they are happy that they are able to spend some quality time with their parents. They both are trying to understand each other. The bonding is getting stronger. They get time to spend playing indoor games like Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, Chess, Carom, etc. The parent can help them in managing their time table by dividing the time equally in all activities – learning, enjoying, playing, studying so as to pass time smoothly.

The sensitivity of the matter is being monitored by children on a regular basis and this makes them more responsible. They are following the instructions of Prime Minister Narender Modi Ji by maintaining Social distancing, washing hands, not going outside, etc.

Earlier, it was said that “United we stand divided we fall “but
today’s demand is united we fall. Let’s pray together that things get normal as
soon as possible.

In the end, Pooja Grover said “As a parent without being panic, you should teach children how to stay focused, self-controlled. Reassure children that the situation will get better.
The post Use Quarantine time to establish a strong bonding with children: Dr. Pooja Grover first appeared on Jugaadin News .

The coronavirus
outbreak is increasing every day in the country. The cases of corona are
steadily increasing due to the fast-spreading infection.

Janata curfew was
imposed from 7 am to 9 pm on Sunday 22 March on the call of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi to deal with the coronavirus. All state governments followed and
supported the Janata curfew. At the same time, some states announced the
lockdown on Sunday evening.

Around 75 districts
of the country have also been locked down. The Punjab government has imposed a
curfew. After all, what does a lockdown mean and how it would be different from
the curfew. Here’s the difference between curfew and lockdown.

What is curfew?

When curfew is imposed in any area, people are ordered to stay in homes for up to a deadline. The administration imposes curfew only in emergency situations. Under the administrative order in curfew, peoples are not allowed to get outside their homes. All Schools, colleges, markets are also closed during the curfew. All public transport also remains closed in this period. The government imposes section 144 during the lockdown in which gathering of more than 4 people is not allowed.

What is Lockdown?

Lockdown is an
emergency arrangement put in place to isolate people. People are instructed to
stay in an area or in a building at the time of lockdown and are prohibited
from leaving. In Lockdown also section 144 is imposed. Exit from the place is
allowed only for essential things or in an emergency situation.

Necessary facilities continue during the lockdown, but it also depends on the administration which services it wants to continue. If seen, banks, markets, hospitals, vegetable shops, dairy, etc. are kept open. If someone is in need of medicines or food and drink, one can get out. Most public transport also remains closed in this period. Whereas all these things are banned during the curfew period.

What is the penalty that can be imposed on breaking Section 144?

A case can be registered against any person who has been illegally involved in the riots. And can also be arrested for a maximum of 3 years for this.

Difference between Lockdown and
Curfew

Both curfew and
lockdown are imposed in different conditions. The difference between the two is
the services maintained by the administration. If there are riots or violence
in an area, the administration imposes a curfew to control the situation.

During the curfew, essential services like markets and banks remain locked. When curfew is relaxed only then people get the benefit of all these services. Whereas, the required services in lockdown are not stopped or closed. As in our country at the moment, Lockdown has been done in many states and cities of the country, but shops and banks are open for dairy, essential goods.
The post How Lockdown is different from Curfew first appeared on Jugaadin News .

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is spreading like a fire in the world. Countries to state boundaries are getting lockdown so as to break the human contact and communication of coronavirus. Everyone is taking necessary precautions to keep themselves away from the deadly infection but for daily needs, people have to go out and unwillingly they touch certain things from where they can catch the infection and bring it home. Washing hands properly and sanitizing them along with disinfecting home is also necessary.

Which things need to be sanitized at home?

Doorknobs, cabinet handles, refrigerator door, T.V. remotes and countertops and anything that you come in contact with hands many times a day.

One forgets to sanitize computer keyboard and mouse, frequently used electronics, like tablets and laptops, even debit cards and wallets need to be sanitized.

If anyone is sick at your home with possible coughing and
sneezing symptoms, the areas listed above need to be sanitized more regularly.

For areas that can’t be wiped down like sofa, mattresses,
and carpet, use a disinfectant spray for them.

Before you disinfect anything in your house, you should remember
that you wear gloves. Rubber gloves are more durable and reusable. Just remember
to wash your hand with soap and warm water after using any cleaning products.

How to
sanitize your home during Coronavirus outbreak: Things that can be used

Sanitize home with soap and water or disinfectant

Any frequently contacted areas can be washed with soap and
water before sanitizing. It includes washing your hands with soap and water
regularly. Disinfectants are multipurpose cleaners and could be used on many
types of surfaces to keep away the bacteria or germs from your house.

Sanitizing
home with alcohol-based products

Rubbing alcohol-based products consisting of 70 percent alcohol will surely kill the virus but cause less damage to the virus as compared to bleaching objects. Remember to use rub alcohol without diluting it. Although keep in mind that the rubbing alcohol may cause discoloration on some items like plastic when used as a disinfectant.

Sanitize home using bleach

The floors of the home are the most important to clean. Using
1 cup of bleach mixed with 5 gallons of water to mop the floor is recommended
during Coronavirus outbreak

You may not want to use bleach on the hardwood as it would cause discoloration. Instead, a cloth dipped in disinfectant solution (vinegar and half a cup in 1-gallon water) could be used for mopping wood areas. Always uses gloves when using bleach, remember not to dilute bleach with anything except water.

It is important that you just don’t swipe the surface to disinfect it. It is essential to use the required quantity of cleaner for it to work efficiently. Make sure that you are using appropriate cleaner according to the porous and non-porous surfaces. Clean all the surfaces with which you come in contact many times in a day to prevent the coronavirus as prevention is always better than cure. Thus, be clean and be safe.
The post 3 ways to disinfect home during Coronavirus eruption first appeared on Jugaadin News .
