As notified earlier, the CLAT 2021 will be a Pen and Paper exam conducted at Centres with all COVID 19 safety protocols being observed. Candidates for the LL.M. programme in CLAT 2021 are hereby informed that the examination will include only 120 MCQs to be answered in 120 minutes. There will be no Descriptive Section in CLAT 2021.

In the official notice, it is also mentioned that to avoid long travel to the Test Centres, applicants will be given a chance to revisit their preference of Test Centre after the last date of submission of filled-in application. The Consortium as far as possible will try to adjust the first or second preference of the Test Centre.

And, last Candidates are advised to get themselves vaccinated. 

Furthermore, the last date for submission of online application for CLAT 2021 has also been extended to June 15, 2021.

The Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of the representative universities, after reviewing the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country and keeping in view of health and safety of all students appearing for CLAT, the Committee decided to postpone the CLAT 2021 admission test scheduled on June 13.

According to the notice, now CLAT 2021 examination will be held on June 13, 2021. Earlier the exam was scheduled to conduct on May 9, 2021.

The consortium of national law universities changed the date due to the CBSE board exam – According to the notice, the date of CLAT 2021 has been amended keeping in view the schedule of the recently released CBSE board exam. The date of the CLAT 2021 was getting clashed with the date of the board examination.
