The post CBSE 12th board exam canceled; decision on Class 12 CBSE Exams has been taken in the interest of students: PM first appeared on Jugaadin News .]]> CBSE Board 12th Exam 2021: In the high-level meeting held on 23 May, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, after discussing with all the States and Union Territories and considering the suggestions received from them, was about to announce the 12th board examinations on Tuesday at 11 am but due to post-covid symptoms, he has been admitted to AIIMS today. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a high-level meeting at 5.30 pm today to make a decision regarding class 12th Board exams and it was decided to cancel the examinations in the meeting.

The Prime Minister chaired a review meeting regarding the Class XII Board exams of CBSE. In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that Class XII Board Exams would not be held this year. It was also decided that CBSE will take steps to compile the results of class XII students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.

The decision on Class 12 CBSE Exams, according to the Prime Minister, was made in the best interests of students. COVID-19 has impacted the academic calendar, and the problem of Board Exams has caused significant worry among students, parents, and instructors, which he believes must be addressed.

The Prime Minister stressed that the health and safety of our students are of utmost importance and there would be no compromise on this aspect. He said that in today’s time, such exams cannot be the reason to put our youth at risk.

The post CBSE Board Exams 2021 Datesheet for class 10th and 12th announced, Exams from May 4 first appeared on Jugaadin News .]]> Union Education Minister Dr. RP Nishank on Tuesday announced the much-awaited CBSE Class X and XII Board Exam Date sheet.

The central board of Secondary Education Exam will begin on May 4 for both classes 10th and 12th. Class 12th Exams will be conducted in two shifts to reduce the exam days and it will last June 11 whereas Class 10th’s last exam will be held on June 7.

The major changes that Education Ministry has taken this year for CBSE Board exams are, one exam has been delayed to May this year due to pandemic and the board had also reduced the syllabus by 30% last year. CBSE will conduct Class 10 Board exams for 75 subjects while for Class 12th, it will conduct for 111 subjects.

The board clarifies that the decision regarding pending board examinations for classes 10 and 12 for 29 crucial subjects remains the same. The Board is prepared and will conduct the exam as soon as lockdown relieves.  At least 10-days notice before conducting exams will be given to students” a senior ministry official said.
