CA Day (Charted Accountants Day) is observed every year on 1 July to celebrate the establishment of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) by the parliament of India. ICAI is the second biggest accounting organization in the world. ICAI is the sole licensing and regulatory body for the financial audit and accounting profession in India. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was established on, 1 July 1949.

CA Day is also celebrated to honor the Chartered Accountants across the nation. A chartered accountant is a person who gives direction to the financial condition of any country. To become a member of ICAI, it is important to clear the CA examination, along with three years of practical training.

4 Common Myths about CA

Here are 4 common myths busted about Chartered Accountancy:

1.Aspirants must study 16 hours every day

It is believed that a CA student needs to study 16 hours to qualify for CA examinations. But this is not true. If you have studied well and all your concepts are cleared then no one can stop you from cracking the exam, but if you have given 16 hours per day for the preparation and still your basic concepts are not clear, it will be difficult for you to qualify any program of CA examination. Quality of study matter over the number of hours you invest in studies.

2. Graduation is Necessary

Many students have a misconception that to pursue CA graduation is important. The fact is students can pursue CA immediately after 10+2 only after registering with ICAI. The only difference is that undergraduate need to appear for CA Foundation level exam first and graduates can directly appear for Intermediate Level.

3. CA is all about Numbers

There is a misconception that CA is all about numbers, but dealing with numbers is a starting phase. CA also needs to have a good understanding of technical skills, negotiation skills, business knowledge, and expertise in finance-related subjects.

4. CA is Tough to Pursue

‘CA is tough to pursue’ is one of the most popular myths due to which many students are reluctant to pursue it. But this is not true, if you make your mind from the beginning that it is not hard and thoroughly understand the fundamental concepts than it becomes possible to crack CA.

ICAI released Admit card for May 2019 exam

It is notified that due to 17th Lok Sabha Parliamentary elections, the Chartered Accountant Examinations initially rescheduled from 2^nd May to 27^th May. Earlier the exams were going to happen from May 2 to 17^th but now ICAI conduct the exam from 27^th May to 12^th June. ICAI has released the admit cards for the Foundation, Intermediate (IPC), Intermediate, Final and Final – New with their photographs and signature on the https://icaiexam.icai.org. No admit cards in physical form will be sent to the students. They have to download the ticket by using their login id. Following steps they must take to print their Admit cards:

Step 1: Visit https://icaiexam.icai.org

Step 2: Login using your Login ID (Registration Number) and password

Step 3: Click on link in front of Admit Card

ICAI announced Practical Assessment test for CA Students

The institute of chartered accountants of India(ICAI) has announced Article ship training test for CA intermediate students. The Practical training assessment test called (PTAT) would be conducted after first and second year of practical training. These tests has been started to judge the practical skills and subject specific knowledge of student. The test will be in online mode and question will be multiple choice. The students will get grades instead of marks in the final mark sheet. The registration will closed on 07^th sept, 2018 and first paper will be on 23^rd sept. For 1^st year students, the test will be of 75 marks and for 2nd year students , it will be 100 marks.

Vishesh Academy of Commerce student got AIR 16 in CS Executive

Register for CA exam till 28th aug.

According to the The institute of chartered accountant of india( ICAI) , the last date to fill the CA Exam form is 28th aug.2018. The forms are submitted for november attempt.

The schedule for exams are as follows:

From 1st to 17th nov.: CA FINAL
From 2nd Nov to 18th Nov.: Intermediate exams
CA Foundation: 11 th to 17th Nov.
