The  Raktdaan Utsav was organized at Aggrasain Bhawan, Hisar. ADGP Sh. Shrikant Jadhav acts as chief guest in the Blood Donation Camp. He acknowledged the remarkable dedication and humanitarian spirit displayed by the blood donors for their life-saving contributions.

Ek Kadam Zindagi Ki Aur has been coming forward every year to organize blood donation camps to serve humanity and save precious lives.

This year, NGO has also put the table for stem cell donation. Stem cell donation helps in saving the lives of those suffering from life-threatening fatal blood disorders like Blood Cancer, Thalassemia, Leukemia, Aplastic Anemia, Sickle Cell Anemia, etc. Donors donated stem cells for saving someone’s life.

The camp saw an impressive turnout, with males, females, and children participating in it and donating blood to save precious lives.

NGO expressed gratitude to all the generous blood donors for their presence and participation and thanked them with a certificate and a Plant.

Organised by EK Kadam Zindagi ki Aur NGO in association with Hamara Pyar Hisar, Hisar Sewa Samiti, Udit Kunj Foundation, and Super Women NGO at Aggrasain Bhawan have collected 500 blood units through different private blood banks. Nalwa blood bank, Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Sarvodaya Blood Centre, Shri Ram Blood Centre, National blood Centre, and SMS hospital took part in the drive. Various other organizations like Lazeez Restaurant, Vishesh Academy of Commerce, 11th Heaven, Canoe, Faith Academy of Commerce, HiDM- Hisar Institute of Digital Marketing and Malik Tents & Decorators sponsored the Hisar Blood donation camp.

Manish Goel from Hamara Pyar Hisar said blood shortage is a common problem during summers. But today, with god’s grace, the weather was good and the team has achieved the set target of 500 units, it’s an incredible achievement for all. Thanks to all blood donors who contributed to this noble cause of saving one’s life and to the team who worked hard to achieve the aim. The team also ran a blood donation awareness campaign in which hundreds of students from various educational institutes were motivated for the blood donation.

A separate refreshment zone was assigned for refreshments after blood donation. The camp also had a free Cholesterol and blood glucose level test table by the Max labs.

Also, not only men have enthusiastically come forward for the blood donation, the number of women blood donors was also great. Not only young girls but females between 35-40 years of age showed great zeal.

“With this blood donation drive, we hope we have plugged the shortage of blood for a few days. Thanks to Hisar people and members of Ek Kadam Zindagi ki Aur and all associated NGOs who helped us in our event. Blood on Demand is a tough task but due to members and donors, it has become easy and possible to save someone’s life. We are hoping to organise more camps in future to keep the stock up in the blood banks,” said Manoj Khandelwal from Ek Kadam Zindagi ki Aur NGO.

The Blood donors were given refreshments, a donation certificate and a token of appreciation for their contribution to the noble cause of blood donation. The organising Team thanked Anjani Khariawala, Owner of Aggrasain Bhawan for his contribution to the event.

In order to motivate youth and inculcate the importance of blood donation in them, the team members Rakesh Khandelwal, Vikram, and Manmohan Singla of Ek Kadam Zindagi ki Aur NGO today spread awareness among youth. They organised blood donation awareness seminars at Ranbhoomi Academy, Career Power, & Career Booster and motivate young blood to come forward for the blood donation.

While addressing, Er. Manmohan Singla, Director HiDM, said,” Youth is the power of a country and can do anything if they are determined to. By donating blood, you can save one’s life while staying healthy. If you donate a unit of blood, you can save three lives.

He also described the various benefits and myths related to blood donation. Donating blood can reveal potential health problems, reduces harmful iron stores, may lower the risk of suffering a heart attack, and help the liver to stay healthy.

The need of blood supply in an emergency, and asking a donor in return by the blood banks is a major issue that NGO Ek kadam Zindagi ki Aur is trying to fulfilling by its blood donation camp in Hisar. Recently, NGO conducted a blood donation camp at village Kirtan.
