The prestigious India National Tech Excellence Award for Women 2022 is instituted for pursuing, prevailing, creating an impact, and etching out stories of inspiration for future young girls. The awards are categorized under two categories National Women Scientist Award for Excellence in Translational Research and National Women Entrepreneur Award. The awardees will receive a cash award of ₹3 Lakh and ₹1 Lakh for senior and young, respectively, and a number of awards will be two in each category.

The contribution of Indian women in science & technology and entrepreneurship has been exemplary, and they have proved that they can own businesses, work tirelessly to show that they are adept and successful in the entrepreneurial space. In rural India, too, women entrepreneurs have made their way and emerged as leaders across different sectors, proving that they are capable mentors for future generations.

AIR stations, in all States and UTs across India, will give an opportunity to youngsters from local colleges, universities to take part in AIR programming, allowing them to discuss and curate youth-centric shows. The AIRNxt shows would encourage the youth to speak about the achievements of the country during the last 75 years of independence and where do they expect the country to reach in various fields.

About 20,000 youth from 1000 educational institutions will be participating during the next year from across India through 167 AIR stations. All India Radio’s AIRNxt is a part of the celebrations under the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The Fit India App is free and available in English & Hindi on both the Android and the iOS platforms and has been developed keeping in mind that it works even on basic smartphones.

The Fit India Movement was launched on 29th August 2019 by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with the vision of making India a Fit and Healthy Nation. The key message is Fitness is easy, fun and free, and can be practiced anywhere. One year later, on the occasion of the 1st Anniversary of the Fit India movement, Prime Minister launched ‘The Age-appropriate fitness protocols for three age groups (1) 5-18 years (2) 18-65 Years and (3) 65+ Years’ developed by an expert committee and endorsed by World Health Organization (WHO).

Fit India App is to empowers each individual to check his/her fitness score based on a set of age-specific fitness tests and get specific recommendations on how to improve their fitness level through physical activities including yoga protocols. Animated Videos have been provided to make individuals understand the procedure for conducting the fitness tests themselves. These features are based on the Age-appropriate fitness protocols launched by Prime Minister.

The App also provides opportunities for Individuals, Schools, Groups, and Organisations to participate in various Fit India Events, Certification Programs, etc. People can share their fitness success stories using this platform.
