The actor is back in a never seen before avatar of a colourful character, as he plays a cruel gangster with a stone eye. 

The Bachchan Pandey trailer begins with Myra Devekar, character played by Kriti Sanon, an aspiring director, who convinces her friend Arshad Warsi (Vishu) to come with her to make a biopic on real life gangster named Bachchhan Paandey. Bachchhan Paandey, role played by Akshay Kumar is seen in a deadly gangster role. Myra finally gets the chance to gain an insight into Bachchhan’s life, but ends up getting caught by Bachchhan Paandey. So what happen next is the real suspense of the movie.

In the original film Bhagmati, Anushka Shetty was in the lead role. Along with Bhumi Pednekar and Arshad Warsi, Jishu Sengupta, Mahi Gill, and Karan Kapadia are also playing the lead roles in Durgamati. The film is being produced by Cape of Good Films, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Vikram Malhotra. Durgamati movie will release on Amazon Prime Video on December 11.
