Kesari Chapter 2 – A Story of Justice and Courage

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film is a gripping courtroom drama revolving around Sankaran Nair, a courageous lawyer who dared to challenge the British Empire. The story sheds light on Nair’s legal battle to hold the British accountable for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, where hundreds of innocent Indians were brutally killed by General Dyer’s orders.

The trailer showcases intense scenes of the courtroom battle, where Akshay Kumar as Sankaran Nair takes on General Dyer, questioning him about the merciless killings. The Khaali peeli story is about two childhood lovers Pooja and Blackie who got separated when they were kids. Pooja, who is now a prostitute, decides to escape from the place with a bag of stolen money. She accidentally met Blackie who is now a “chalu” Bombay taxi driver. This union of Blackie and Pooja leads to a series of chase and escape.  Ananya Panday is playing the Pooja’s role and Ishaan Khattar as Blackie in the movie.
