The restaurant partners are also informed that Amazon’s food delivery business services will be closed till December 29. E-commerce website Amazon has also assured to meet all “payment and other contractual obligations” of its partners within the same period. Along with this, the Amazon company will provide access to Amazon tools and reports to all partners till January 31.

The amazon food delivery announcement means that after 29 December 2022, no customer will get delivery of any order through Amazon Food. Amazon Food started as a competition with e-commerce websites like Swiggy and Zomato in India. This food delivery service was launched in Bangalore in May 2020. And by March 2021, Amazon Food had expanded to 62 points in Bangalore city.

A day after announcing the closure of Amazon food delivery business services in India, it was learned that the company is also going to shut down Amazon Academy, which was started for high-school students. Amazon Academy is an online learning platform that was launched last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Amazon India on Wednesday launched Academy to help students preparing for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) for entrance to engineering colleges. The online preparation platform will offer students with in-depth knowledge and practice papers required for the JEE, through the curated learning material, live lectures, and comprehensive assessments in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. The beta version of Amazon Academy will be available free of cost on the web and the Google Play store.

Amazon Academy offers JEE mock tests prepared by experts to help students in JEE exam preparation. Amazon Academy will also hold live All India Mock Tests (AIMT) at scheduled intervals. It will also offers live sessions where they can engage with expert faculty, learn concepts, and clarify doubts in real-time.

Amazon Academy not only provides material for JEE exam preparation, but also for those who are preparing for BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, and MET exams. The content is currently available for free and will continue to be for the next few months.
